The May Fair is organised by Thames Ditton based Ajax Sea Scout Group as part of their annual fundraising  activities . Another date for your diary is their fantastic Plant Sale held at the Ditton Reach HQ on bank holiday weekend 6 + 7th May – all plants of the highest quality are  grown by local nurserymen!  With the focus firmly on the water, Ajax Sea Scouts provides non-stop fun and adventure for boys and girls aged six to eighteen with members from Thames Ditton, Molesey, Esher, Kingston and Oxshott.  Ajax operates from a purpose built Water Activities Centre on the River Thames and from a coastal base at Chichester Harbour.

2007 is also the centenary of the introduction of the Scouting movement – many reasons to celebrate and support local Groups!

Please can you encourage your readers and listeners to put this date in their diaries and to support local charities and clubs plus Ajax Sea Scouts at this fun community event.
